Our trees are local! They are fresh cut and delivered weekly from Ellett’s Tree Farm in The Dalles.
Sharply pointed dark green or blue-green needles 1 to ½ inches long, soft to the touch; needles radiate in all directions from branch. Sweet fragrance. One of the most popular Christmas tree species. Should last up to 5 weeks without drying out, with proper tree care.
Shiny needles extend from branch in 2 distinct rows horizontally spread; needles are 1 to ½ inches long, glossy dark green tops and two white lines on the underside of branches. Known fro strong fragrance. Thick foliage. Should last up to 5 weeks without drying out, with proper tree care.
Symmetrical. Bluish-green needles appear silver, form 4 sides around branch. Popular Christmas tree because of beauty, stiff branches, and long keepability. Also great for making wreaths, door swags, and garland. Will last longer than most trees, with proper tree care.
Make a fresh cut to remove ¼” to 1” thick disk of wood from base of trunk just before placing in stand, to maximize tree life and health. Avoid placing the tree near any source of direct heat. Water often: water level should not drop below the tree cut (bottom). Do not add preservatives to the water, fresh water will maintain your tree best.
Choose a tree at least 1 foot shorter than your ceiling height.
Check width of bottom branches, some trees are wider than others.
Keep in mind the weight of your ornaments, check branch sturdiness if necessary.
